garter snakes
I convenced my mom to let me get a snake. she said yes, but I had to follow 3 rules.
1. It hd to be small
2. it coulden't eat crickets
3. i had to keep my room clean
so I dicided on a florida blue garter.

Cool. We had a snake once upon a time. What will yours eat? Ours had to have live food, and was able to live on feeder gold fish. We ended up giving it to my sister after we moved out to the country and it became such a hassle to have to stop by the pet store every week for more fish. My sister feeds the snake pinkies (baby mice) every once in a while. We couldn't deal with feeding the pinkies, so I guess the snake's nutrition was "off" while it lived with us.
